Patna: The Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) is building a new garbage transfer station at Yarpur to replace the existing Nutan Rajdhani zone facility. About 60% of the work has been completed, and machine installation will begin soon. Municipal commissioner Yashpal Meena has directed officials and the executing agency to finish the project on time while maintaining quality. The modern station will enable scientific waste collection, segregation and transportation, helping reduce environmental pollution and strengthen Patna’s sanitation infrastructure.
