The National Lottery has been hit with a flurry of complaints after customers were locked out of its app and website.
Both the lottery’s iOS and Android apps, as well as its website, went down over the weekend as part of a scheduled 24-hour maintenance period, which was supposed to conclude by the end of Sunday.
“This could be due to planned maintenance or you being blocked by your internet provider.”
The National Lottery has been hit with hundreds of complaints from disgruntled customers as a result of the works.
One person wrote to X: “Can’t log in as it says outside of the UK, despite being in the UK. BT says it’s your problem.
“Congrats on the worst upgrade.”
