Nalasopara man assaulted over offensive social media post against Raj and Uddhav Thackeray; four booked

Vasai: The Tulinj police booked four people on Friday after a video of them assaulting and parading a man in his inner-wear went viral on social media on Thursday.The victim, Suraj Rajeshirke, had uploaded a video using offensive language against Uddhav and Raj Thackeray. Later a group od 6 to 7 men claiming to be from MNS and Sena (UBT). The group traced Rajeshirke his home in Nalasopara east. In the video, the group can be seen standing at hsi doorstep forcing him to come out while Rajeshirke and his feamily are seen holding the door. The group is then seen parading Rajeshirke to Tulinj police station. It is not clear if he was stripped by the group or not said an official. The group registered a non-cognisable complaint against Rajeshirke on Thursday. After the video went viral, police filed an FIR against the four accused. No arrests have been made yet.
