Hyderabad: After a considerable lull, Munugode MLA Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy on Wednesday said he would ‘drop a bombshell’ (surprise the party with some kind of decision) if the state govt continued to neglect Munugode assembly constituency and does not release funds and clear bills of contractors at the earliest.Raj Gopal, who has been demanding that the party leadership honour its promise of giving him a cabinet berth, had earlier made indirect attacks against the Congress, allegedly to exert pressure to make it fulfill its assurance of making him a minister.Speaking at a programme at Kothularam village in Nalgonda district, he said he had personally appealed to the CM and the deputy CM, who assured him of release of funds and clearance of pending contractor bills. However, he said the assurances have not materialised even after several weeks. The MLA said he would wait for a few more days.
