The police have arrested a total of 12 people from both the groups.Police registered two FIRs against the accused. The first complaint was lodged by one Abdul Hannan Siddiqui (26) while the other FIR was registered on the complaint of Zakir Siddiqui. Both are Nagpada residents and have been arrested as both face attempted murder cases. While four injured were discharged, one is admitted in the JJ hospital and is said to be critical. A video of the fight went viral in the area and a team from the Nagpada police arrived at the spot. Police caught the persons involved in the fight and brought them to the police station. It all started over the alleged non-payment of Rs 700-800 of a Pune trip by one of the accused to another. Siddiqui told police that he along with Zakir Siddiqui and Sohail Siddiqui went to Pune last week to buy clothes as they were in the garment business. The market was shut on Wednesday due the death of DCM Ajit Pawar. Siddiqui and Zakir had reportedly agreed to share room rent in Pune. Zakir returned to Mumbai on Wednesday saying he would buy clothes from Mumbai. Siddiqui returned on Thursday. After reaching Mumbai, Siddiqui called up Zakir and asked him to pay his share of Rs 1200 which Siddiqui reportedly paid from his pocket. However, Zakir paid Rs 400 only. This led to an argument between the two over the phone and the fight enused.
