The RPO, Ahmedabad, said applicants can book fresh appointments or reschedule existing ones specifically for the “Mobile Van Bhuj” location. The move is expected to reduce the rush at regular Passport Seva Kendras and ease the burden on applicants who otherwise travel to distant centres.Officials said the step follows a similar pilot conducted in Sanand, where mobile van-based service delivery was introduced to improve outreach and reduce appointment waiting time.To avail of the facility, applicants must apply under the ‘normal’ category on the official passport seva portal, complete the online fee payment, and then log in again to confirm payment status before proceeding to the appointment scheduling page to select the “Mobile Van Bhuj” option.
