MLA distributes tricycles among disabled | Kanpur News

Kanpur: Ghatampur MLA Saroj Kureel on Thursday distributed tricycles among 30 disabled persons under the Artificial Limb and Assistive Devices scheme of the department of Persons with Disabilities at the development block premises in Patara.Addressing the gathering, the MLA appealed to the disabled people not to be disappointed due to their physical disability, but to become self-reliant and empowered by taking advantage of the welfare schemes run by the govt. She stated that the state govt was fully committed to the overall upliftment of disabled persons. On this occasion, the district disability empowerment officer provided detailed information about various schemes run by the department for the disabled.tnn
