The monthly review meeting of crime, law and order and prosecution work was held in the Bacha Bhawan Auditorium at the Collectorate under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Harshita Mathur. The District Magistrate said that there is a need to take the prosecution work more seriously. He said that especially in serious cases, effective lobbying should be done so that more and more convicts can be punished.
The District Magistrate also said that 100 percent evidence testing should be conducted in the court so that the prosecution can be strengthened. The District Magistrate told all government officials and advocates that there should be no laxity in the prosecution work so that justice can be fulfilled.
Superintendent of Police Dr. Yashveer Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Siddharth, Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Sinha, City Magistrate Ram Avatar and concerned officers and government advocates were present on the occasion.
