Massage centre staff robbed at knifepoint

Chennai: A five-member gang robbed women employees at a private massage centre in Velachery at knifepoint and fled with their valuables on Saturday night.The police said the group visited the massage centre, and one of the men was inebriated. So, the staff asked them to leave the premises.

Angered by this, the men left the building but returned after some time and threatened the employees at knifepoint into handing over their belongings. The assailants fled with mobile phones and around 10g of gold jewellery from the staff.On receiving information, police went to the spot and began an investigation. Efforts are underway to identify and trace the suspects.
