Police said he had come to visit his son, who lives in the Ireo Skyon society.According to the police, Virdhi called his son earlier in the day to check if he was at home and informed him that he would be visiting. Around 11.30am, the society’s security guard informed the son that Virdhi had arrived. However, when Virdhi did not reach the flat, the son contacted the guard again. “Shortly afterwards, the guard informed him that his father had fallen from the building,” an officer said.Preliminary investigation suggests that the accident occurred in the lobby area near the flat. Police said the floor had been recently mopped and was slightly wet at the time. It is suspected that Virdhi slipped, lost balance, and fell over the railing.Officials also noted that the railing in the lobby area was around 2.5 feet high, which may have contributed to the fall. No signs of foul play were found at the scene.
