Gurgaon: A 35-year-old man was killed after being hit by a container truck in Faridabad’s Sector 25 area in the early hours of Tuesday. Station house officer of the Sector 58 police station, Vinod Kumar, said the accused driver fled the spot with the vehicle after the incident. A case has been registered and efforts are on to seize the vehicle, he said. The victim, identified as Sachin, was a native of Uttar Pradesh and lived with his wife and 1-year-old child in a rented accommodation in Krishna Nagar. He was returning home on a motorcycle after working a night shift for a company in Sarurpur when the incident occurred near Atal Park, an officer said.The police have sent the body for a post-mortem examination.
