Gurgaon: The body of a 40-year-old man was found in mysterious circumstances at his rented accommodation in Sheetla Colony in Sector 5 on Tuesday.The deceased was identified as Vinod of Pilibhit district in Uttar Pradesh and worked as a DJ, said police.According to police, Vinod lived in Gurgaon for the past 1.5 years with his wife and child. “His wife went to her native place on Jan 2, after which he stayed alone in the room. Vinod last spoke to his wife over the phone on Jan 11 and did not come out of the room thereafter,” said a police officer. The incident came to light when the landlord visited the premises to collect rent. When repeated knocks went unanswered, the landlord peeped through the window and saw Vinod lying motionless near the bed. He immediately alerted the police.When cops arrived at the spot, they found Vinod lying on the floor close to the bed. Several liquor bottles were recovered from inside the room. The body had a few scratch marks.
