Patna: A 65-year-old man, Jayanandan Thakur, died in a road accident near Sonaru village on NH-30A under Fatuha police station area of Patna district on Saturday. He was hit by an unknown vehicle while going to work at a salon. The police sent the body for a post-mortem at Nalanda Medical College Hospital (NMCH) and are searching for the vehicle.Fatuha SHO, Sadanand Sah, said, “Jayanandan was a resident of Ashrafpur in Nalanda district. He was returning from his home to work when the accident occurred. The police found a bag containing barber tools at the spot, which helped identify the victim.”
