Bhubaneswar: A man died and seven were injured in a road accident in Khurda on Tuesday. Police identified the deceased as Silu Mangaraj, 42. Learning about the road accident, chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep sorrow and extended condolences to the bereaved family. He announced an ex gratia of Rs 4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the closest relative of the deceased. “The chief minister also instructed officials to ensure the best medical care for all those injured in the accident,” a govt statement read.
