Bengaluru: A 23-year-old unemployed youth from Kerala, identified as Amal NG, was arrested on charges of stealing women’s lingerie and taking selfies while wearing them.The accused, a resident of Hebbagodi, came to the city in search of a job six months ago and lives in a friend’s room. He is yet to get a job, police said.“During the day, he roams around Hebbagodi and steals inner garments hung outside houses or paying guest accommodations. On Monday, he stole some inner garments from a house in Vidyanagar, and the occupants caught hold of him. They called a hoysala vehicle and its staff member handed Amal to us,” Hebbagodi police said.When police visited Amal’s room, they found around 15-20 pairs of ladies’ inner garments hidden in a bag. “On checking his mobile, we recovered many photos and videos, where he is seen wearing them,” an investigating officer said.
