Rourkela: A man was arrested in Sundargarh district on Friday for allegedly killing a woman, whose naked body was found near a pond on Thursday. He was identified as Pradeep Pradhan. He confessed that he killed the woman with a stone. On Wednesday evening, he had a heated argument with the woman when he was drunk and attacked her with a stone. Police have seized the stone.“The postmortem will reveal the cause of her death. We have also written to the doctor, to inform us whether the woman had been sexually assaulted on the spot,” said N Mohapatra, SDPO, Sadar, Sundargarh.
