Mumbai: A 24-year-old resident of Kurla died after being hit by an unknown vehicle in the area early on Thursday. Two passersby found the victim, Rishikesh Gaikwad, injured on the road and rushed him to Noor Hospital nearby. The facility allegedly refused treatment, following which he was taken to Bhabha Hospital, where was declared dead before admission. Kurla police have filed an FIR invoking BNS sections on causing death due to negligence and rash driving. TNN
