Lucknow Traffic Diversion: Traffic diversions have been imposed in Lucknow in view of the 10th Muharram procession, which will start at 7 AM tomorrow. The procession will begin from the Nazim Saheb Imambara (Victoria Street) and end at Karbala via Mayfair Tiraha (Akbari Gate), Billauchpura, Bulaki Adda, and Bazarkhala. DCP Traffic Kamlesh Dixit said the diversions will be implemented from the morning of July 6.
Vehicles going from the Toodiganj intersection to Nakkhas or Lal Madhav (Haiderganj) will be diverted through Saadatganj.
Vehicles will not be allowed to go towards Nakkhas from the Kamla Nehru Crossing (Medical Cross) intersection and will have to go via Medical College Chowk.
Vehicles from Rakabganj Pul Chauraha to Nakkhas will go via the Medical College or Naka.
Vehicles heading towards Toodiganj from Nakkhas Tiraha can go via the Rakabganj bridge.
Vehicles from Haiderganj Tiraha towards Nakkhas or Bulaki Adda Tiraha will be diverted via Aishbagh.
Vehicles coming to Haiderganj Tiraha or Mill Area from Bulaki Adda Tiraha will be diverted via Tikait Rai Talab and Rajajipuram.
Vehicles will not be able to go towards Mill Area or Ranjit Singh Building (Balaji Temple) intersection from Eveready intersection but will be allowed via Alambagh.
From Alambagh, vehicles will not be able to go towards Vikram Cotton Mill or Eveready Tiraha from the Langda Phatak overbridge slope, but can use the Alambagh route.
Vehicles will not be allowed to go towards Lemon Park from Haiderganj Tiraha and will be diverted via Aishbagh.
Diversion at Mahanagar Karbala and Telibagh Bazaar Karbala
Buses coming from Ayodhya Road, Kamta, and GTI towards Badshahnagar will be allowed via Kamta Tiraha, Vijayapur Underpass, Digdiga, and the 1090 intersection.
Roadways/city buses from Hazratganj going towards Nishatganj and Gol Market from Sushila Devi Smritika Tiraha will go via Bandha Road, Hanuman Setu, IT, Kapurthala, Sarvodayanagar Pul, Sankalp Vatika, and Samtamoolak Gomtinagar.
City buses or other vehicles will be diverted via the 35th Battalion PAC Headquarters and not be allowed to proceed towards Badshahnagar from Gol Market, Post Office, or Mahanagar Square.
Roadways/city buses heading towards Nishatganj from Central Bank Tiraha will go via Wireless Square.
Vehicles will not be allowed to proceed towards Badshahnagar from the intersection under the Nishatganj bridge; they will have to use the Nishatganj police post route.
Vehicles from the Lekhraj Market intersection heading towards Badshahnagar will be diverted via GTI, Gomtinagar.
From the intersection under the Kukrail Bandha bridge towards Badshahnagar, vehicles will be routed via the Kukrail Bandha intersection to the PAC Headquarters.
Vehicles will not be allowed to go towards Badshahnagar from Post Office Mahanagar (Carmel) Square, and must instead use either the PAC Headquarters or Gol Market route.
Roadways/city buses will not be permitted to pass through the Telibagh bridge and will be diverted via the Bangalabazar Bridge.
No vehicles of any kind will be allowed to go towards Telibagh market from Subhanikheda crossing; instead, they will be diverted via Subhanikheda to the right.
