Patna: The Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) organised a lecture on the life and contributions of Bharat Ratna Jananayak Karpoori Thakur on Saturday.Delivering the keynote address, former director of the Jagjivan Ram Parliamentary Studies and Political Research Institute, Narendra Pathak, discussed Karpoori Thakur’s life, highlighting his unwavering commitment to social justice and his role in shaping Bihar’s political landscape. He emphasised Thakur’s efforts toward the upliftment of marginalised and backward communities.

The discussion focused on the contemporary relevance of Karpoori Thakur’s vision and principles.The lecture aimed to promote awareness among students about constitutional values, social justice, and people-centric governance. The university reiterated its commitment to organising similar academic and intellectual engagements in the future.
