Chandigarh : The MC Friday participated in the virtual national launch of PM SVANidhi Credit Cards under the PM SVANidhi Scheme. MC chief Amit Kumar attended the programme along with the lead district manager of PNB, members of the town vending committee, officials from participating banks and 45 registered street vendors.During the programme, financial aid was extended to eligible street vendors under the PM SVANidhi Scheme to support their livelihoods. As many as 50 loans were disbursed by various bank branches, while 16 PM SVANidhi Credit Cards were issued to vendors to facilitate access to working capital through the formal banking system. tnn
