Today, on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivaratri, Mahakumbh 2025 is concluded with the final royal bath (Maha Kumbh 2025 Last Snan). In this grand event, which lasts for 45 days, more than 66 crore devotees took a dip of faith in the Sangam. In order to keep the traffic smooth, the no-entry of vehicles was implemented in the Kumbh Mela from the last day i.e. on the evening of 25 February.

This year, a rare sum of planets and constellations is being made on Mahashivaratri. It is considered very auspicious from spiritual terms. It is believed that taking a bath in the confluence on this day not only destroys all sins. Rather, the inauspicious effects of the planets also get freedom. Apart from this, it is believed that taking a bath on Kumbh on Mahashivaratri brings peace to the soul of the ancestors. This also eliminates Pitradosh present in the horoscope.
