KTM has expanded its portfolio in India with the launch of the new 390 Adventure R. The model sits between the 390 Adventure X and the standard 390 Adventure, and goes against the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. Here’s a quick look at how these two models stack up against each other.

Powering the KTM 390 Adventure R is a 398.7cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 46 hp and 39 Nm of torque. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and comes loaded with electronics, including cornering ABS, cornering traction control and dedicated off-road riding modes.The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 uses a larger 451.65cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine.
