Patna: Nalanda University on Friday hosted a high-level delegation of Dongguk University, Republic of Korea, highlighting deep civilisational and scholarly ties between India and Korea. The 52-member delegation was led by Donkwan, chairperson, board of trustees, Dongguk University Foundation, and Jaewoong Yun, president, Dongguk University. The visit commenced with the inauguration of a Thangka painting and Buddhist artefacts exhibition, inaugurated by Donkwan. The exhibition featured exquisite works created by Korean monk Bhikshu Dovung, who was present on the occasion.
