Kolkata team wins moot court contest at CNLU
In a thrilling showcase of talent, Kolkata’s WBNUJS triumphed at the national moot court competition held at CNLU, walking away with Rs50,000 and coveted internship opportunities. Bengaluru’s NLSIU impressive performance earned them the runner-up title along with Rs40,000.

Patna: The team from West Bengal National University of Juridical Science (WBNUJS), Kolkata, comprising Bhumika, Tejasvi Koul and Hima Sebastain were adjudged the winners of the national moot court competition organised by Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) and awarded a cash prize of Rs50,000 and internships at S S Rana & Co., here on Monday. The team from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, were declared the runners-up team and awarded a cash prize of Rs40,000.Madhav Sharma from NLSIU Bengaluru was adjudged the best speaker and the award for the best researcher was grabbed by Diya Gohil from Karnavati University.The former chief justice of Jharkhand high court, Ravi Ranjan, gave away prizes to the winners of the moot court competition organised by the department of promotion of industries and internal trade (DPIIT) chair of CNLU in collaboration with S S Rana & Co.The competition delved into the contemporary theme of Artificial Intelligence and its intersection with Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), notably copyright law, personality rights, artificial intelligence, and trade secrets.
