Karnataka’s special diet plan extended to 5 more hospitals

Bengaluru: The special nutritional diet plan, introduced last year by the health department, under which food is provided to inpatients of govt hospitals according to their nutritional requirements, has been extended to five additional public hospitals: general hospitals in Yelahanka, KR Pura and Nelamangala in Bengaluru, Wenlock District Hospital in Mangaluru, and District Hospital in Dharwad.The programme was piloted last year in three hospitals: KC General Hospital, Sir CV Raman General Hospital, and Jayanagar General Hospital in Bengaluru. Iskcon will continue to provide the meals.
