Hyderabad: Political strategist and Jan Suraaj party founder Prashant Kishor is likely to help Telangana Jagruthi founder and ex-MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha launch a political party.Kishor, who met Kavitha in Dec last year and on Sankranti on her invitation, reportedly held discussions with her on various issues. Sources said they spoke about the prevailing conditions in Telangana for launching a party, especially when three major political parties have strong presence in the state, and how to reach the people. She is likely to take a decision soon.Interestingly, I-PAC, which worked for YSRCP, also worked for BRS in 2022. However, the pink party discontinued its services after one year. Last month, Kavitha had announced that she would launch a political party soon, and even said she may become the chief minister of Telangana one day. After resigning from BRS a few months ago, she is on the Janam Bata programme, touring the districts of the state. She declared that her party would contest the 2029 assembly polls.The former MP has already started preparing to float a party, and held meetings with supporters. She has formed committees to study the current condition of Telangana and analyse the socio-economic status of the state. The committees, which have conducted in-depth studies on comprehensive development, challenges faced by various sections of society, viable solutions, and effective utilisation of resources, submitted preliminary reports outlining key observations and recommendations.Sources in Telangana Jagruthi said it is currently engaged in preparing a comprehensive development blueprint for Telangana, based on ground-level research and public needs.
