The conference adopted 11 resolutions, including one condemning the DMK govt for rampant corruption and another calling for the formation of a ‘NDA govt’ under the leadership of Edappadi K Palaniswami. Addressing the gathering, Parivendhar said, “For us, Bharat and Tamil Nadu are one and the same. If India grows, TN will automatically grow,” he said. Hitting out at DMK, Parivendhar said the DMK obstructed development. “They say funds for education were not given. But if you seek funds through proper channels, they will be granted,” he said. Continuing his criticism, Parivendhar said TN has been ‘reduced to a state with corruption, bribery, murder, robbery and sexual violence.’
