Prayagraj: The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tech Weaves Lab Private Limited, Noida, for a collaborative partnership in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).Tech Weaves is a newly established IT company engaged in research and development of AI/ML-based applications. The collaboration aims to facilitate the conversion of research ideas into products and patents, along with fostering knowledge exchange through joint research projects, workshops, seminars, and academic–industry initiatives.The MoU was signed by director, Tech Weaves Lab Private Limited, Ankit Mishra, and registrar, IIIT-A, Prof Mandar Subhash Karyekarte, in the presence of director, IIIT-A Prof Mukul Sharad Sutaone, and chief technical officer of the firm Rakesh Kumar Singh.As a part of the MoU, Tech Weaves initiated joint work with the Advanced Image and Data Science Lab (AIDSL) at IIITA, headed by Triloki Pant. The association will focus on geospatial data processing and analysis using machine learning techniques, particularly for applications related to land and spatial analytics. tnn
