“The teachers in govt educational institutions are more qualified than their counterparts in corporate schools. But there is a craze for corporate schools. There have been cases of students dying by suicide as they are unable to bear the academic pressure in corporate educational institutions,” the minister said.The minister also said he would seek central assistance for the development of Nalgonda municipality. “If I meet PM Modi, I am confident that he would sanction ₹1,000 crore or ₹2,000 crore for the development of towns. Society develops mainly through education. If I have the enthusiasm, I will contest elections again. Otherwise, I will spend my life teaching students at Prateek School,” he said. On infrastructure, Komatireddy said an Outer Ring Road project worth ₹800 crore was being taken up for Nalgonda and that the city would witness a major transformation over the next two years.
