Ice from winter storm causes damage to power lines in southern U.S.

Parts of northern Mississippi are still covered by more than an inch of ice following the weekend’s winter storm. Hundreds of National Guard soldiers will be deployed to help with recovery efforts in the state. Meanwhile, in Nashville, the ice storm also caused downed power lines and snapped trees across roads.
