Hyderabad: A 28-year-old man suffered injuries after a speeding car hit his bike and dragged him for nearly 50m, at Champapet on Saturday.According to the Saidabad police, the hit-and-run incident occurred around 12.30am.
D Vijay Kumar, a resident of Ram Colony, was on his bike when the car hit him from the rear side.
It dragged him and his bike for nearly 50m, a video of which was widely circulated on social media. Passersby rushed an unconscious Vijay to hospital.
Based on CCTV footage, police are trying to trace the accused and the car’s registration number. A case of negligence causing accident has been registered.
