House of extortion accused demolished in Muzaffarpur

Patna: Muzaffarpur police on Saturday demolished the house of notorious criminal Sonu Chaudhary, who is absconding in an extortion case. The action was taken under the supervision of Aurai SHO Raja Singh, following a court order for the attachment of his property.The police team, accompanied by a bulldozer, reached Chaudhary’s ancestral home and demolished the illegal construction.

Headquarters DSP Ashok Kumar said, “Sonu, a resident of Atrar village in Muzaffarpur’s Aurai police station area, has multiple serious cases against him, including extortion, across various districts. He was evading police arrest despite repeated notices. The police will continue to crack down on such elements to ensure the rule of law is maintained.”
