Panaji: The Goa state council of educational research and training (GSCERT) has organised a taluka-wise detailed orientation programme on the national education policy (NEP–2020) for parent-teachers’ associations (PTAs), school management committees (SMCs), and management members of govt and govt-aided/unaided primary and high schools.The programme will commence in Quepem on Feb 23 and is designed to strengthen awareness and understanding of the provisions, objectives, and implementation framework of NEP–2020.The active participation of parents is essential for the successful and effective implementation of the policy at the school level.Senior officials from GSCERT, the directorate of education, the Goa board of secondary and higher secondary education, and Goa Samagra Shiksha will be part of the programme. Parents and management members will have the opportunity to interact directly with policymakers and senior officials. This interactive platform will enable open dialogue, clarification of doubts, and constructive feedback.
