Government received a tax of 400 crores due to construction of Ram temple

The construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya not only promoted religious tourism but has also given new pace to the economy. According to Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, the trust has paid a tax of about Rs 400 crore to the government in the last five years (5 February 2020 to 5 February 2025). It includes 270 crore GST and 130 crore as other taxes.
