What is goat rearing scheme?

The Uttar Pradesh government is encouraging farmers to do animal husbandry under the Goat Rearing Scheme. Under this scheme, farmers who want to do animal husbandry are provided a subsidy of up to 50% of the total cost on setting up a goat unit. Apart from this, UP also provides a loan of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh under Bakri Palan Yojana 2024.

The government believes that more profit can be earned by doing animal husbandry business in the state. Apart from this, 5 and 10 Biju goats are given respectively for setting up a unit of 100 and 200 goats. Under this scheme, unemployed youth will get an opportunity to do self-employment through animal husbandry scheme. This scheme has been started by the government in five categories for farmers.   2. If 10 goats give birth to four kids each in a year, then you will have 40 goats (excluding the first 10 goats).
  3. If the cost of keeping and feeding the total goats for one year is estimated to be ₹50000, then the cost of buying and feeding the goats in this way
  4. Total will be ₹100000.
  5. Now if we talk about profit, if 40 goats are sold except the first 10 goats, then if one goat is sold for ₹ 10,000 (10000×40= 4,00000 lakhs), in this way 40 goats will be sold for approximately four lakh rupees.
  6. Now if we add the total profit then (Sales ₹4,00000 – Cost ₹1,00000 = Total saving ₹3,00000 lakh)
  7. In this way, you can earn a profit of up to ₹300000 in a year by keeping 10 goats.
  8. Now from this you can estimate how much profit you will make if you do this on a large scale.

  5. Now an OTP will be sent to your given mobile number, verify it and proceed further.
