Patna: Bhavani Kumari (36), a GNM nurse posted at Khagaria sadar hospital, was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her staff quarters in Chitraguptanagar police station area on Thursday. Police broke open the locked room after her family raised an alarm over unanswered calls. The body was sent for the postmortem and FSL teams collected evidence. Her family alleged prolonged mental and physical torture and dowry harassment by her husband and in-laws was the reason behind her death. Police are investigating the case.
