Gen Alpha gets taste of India’s rich heritage

Lucknow: In an effort to introduce India’s cultural heritage to the youngest generation, the Uttar Pradesh department of culture organised a special educational visit for Gen Alpha students at the Uttar Pradesh State Museum on Friday.Nearly 700 students and teachers from private schools, studying up to Class 1, took part in the programme.

Tourism and culture minister Jaiveer Singh said the state govt is working with a long-term vision to nurture Gen Alpha as future custodians of India’s cultural legacy. Director, Uttar Pradesh Museum Directorate, Dr Srishti Dhawan said museums must function as dynamic learning spaces.
