Chloe Serong grew up adoring wedding films and daydreaming about her big day.
There would be her dream partner, a beautiful setting and a strapless dress with a long train.
What she didn’t envision was rain.
And yet, the downpour on her wedding day to Fremantle Dockers star Caleb Serong proved to be one of the most intimate moments of their big day.
“We were lucky that because of the rain, we cut our photo time short and headed inside to change into our second looks,” she told STM. “In that time, we dried off, sat and had a cocktail and were able to debrief the ceremony and take it all in that was one of the most special and memorable parts of the day.”

The Serong’s held their nuptials in December in Geelong, on Chloe’s family farm. It was a place where the couple would escape during their boarding school breaks, and where they fell in love.
“It is the place we all (now) come together every year as a family and it represents connection, love and togetherness,” Chloe said.
