Mumbai: At 4pm, an SUV pulled up to the Navjivan Vidyamandir polling station in Bandra (E), carrying four members of the Nagpal family. The siblings—three sisters and their brother—arrived in unison to exercise their right to vote. The eldest, 81-year-old Shakuntala Nagpal, beamed with pride as her siblings and local police assisted her into a wheelchair.The residents of Ten BKC, who live together and remain unmarried, have never missed an election. A fifth brother had already cast his ballot earlier in the day due to work commitments. Twenty minutes later, the group emerged with inked fingers and a message for the next generation, “We always vote together.
