The wheat purchasing center Bannavan, Kasarawan, Bachhrawan etc. were inspected by Food Commissioner Uttar Pradesh Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary. First of all, he inspected the wheat purchasing center Bannava where 290 quintals of wheat were purchased, on which he expressed displeasure and gave strict instructions to the center in -charge that wheat procurement should be increased from the farmers and ensure relative to the target. During the inspection, he instructed all the Center in -charge to ensure the purchase of wheat against the target set in all the center in -charge every day.
Instructions have been given for the procurement work at the wheat purchasing center along with complete vigilance and conducting in an effective manner. He told the officer that farmers should not have any problem in selling their produce at wheat purchasing centers. In any case, anti -social elements did not appear at wheat purchasing centers, brokers and middlemen, anti -farmer etc. There should be no delay in procurement of wheat from farmers and farmers should be transferred to their accounts on time. The procurement of wheat was explained in detail by the wheat purchasing center in -charge.
The Food Commissioner also learned about wheat procurement and other arrangements from the farmers who came to the center and also saw their forms. He instructed that moisture measuring devices, sacks, electronic fork etc. should be kept correct. Keeping the arrangements at the wheat purchasing center, wheat should be purchased as per maximum rules from farmers at the centers. During the inspection of the wheat purchasing centers, the Food Commissioner saw the registration form and wheat purchased from the present center in -charge and took information about the arrangements like moisture measuring equipment, electronic fork sacks etc. and instructed to repair the proper arrangements.
The Food Commissioner instructed the officials present that as per the wheat support price prescribed by the government, more and more wheat should be purchased from the farmers and no negligence and relaxation should be taken while keeping proper arrangements etc. at the centers.
Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Siddharth, Deputy District Magistrate Maharajganj Sachin Yadav, District Food Marketing Officer Soni Gupta and concerned officials were present on the occasion.
