Jaipur: As the Class 12 board examinations draw closer, Manvi Khandelwal, a student of Maheshwari Public School, Jawahar Nagar, said a strong command over the NCERT textbook is the foundation of effective preparation in Business Studies.“Most board examination questions are based on the NCERT book. Reading each chapter carefully and understanding the ideas behind management principles helps in answering both theory-based and case study questions with confidence,” Khandelwal said.
She said that during practice, she follows a structured answer-writing approach. “I write answers in points with clear headings, underline important keywords and maintain a logical flow.
This makes answers easier to read and evaluate,” she said, adding that presentation plays a crucial role in fetching marks. Khandelwal said that the use of flowcharts and diagrams, wherever relevant, helps explain answers better. “They not only save time but also leave a positive impression on the examiner,” she added. While solving sample papers, she said she focuses on carefully reading the given situation, identifying the relevant chapter and responding strictly according to the question. “Writing to the point improves accuracy and time management. Simple and relevant examples further strengthen answers,” she said. She also emphasised the importance of revision during practice tests. “Keeping time for revision ensures that key definitions, features and differences are not missed,” Khandelwal said. “Business Studies becomes enjoyable when studied with interest and consistency. With proper planning, regular revision and self-belief, students can score well,” she added.
