Five held for suitcase blast in Ganeshwar Dham pond

Jhunjhunu: Police Wednesday arrested five people over suitcase blast in a pond at Ganeshwar Dham in Sikar district. Additional superintendent of police Lokesh Meena said that the case was related to tantric practices. All the accused were residents of Jhunjhunu and Udaipurwati who came in contact with a tantrik from Mewat in Nuh district of Haryana. The tantric gave some material in a suitcase and asked them to immerse it, he said.

All the accused reached Ganeshwar Dham and while immersing it, the suitcase exploded. An investigation is being conducted into what material was in the suitcase. The accused are Dinesh Kumar Jangid, Jayram Saini, Hariram, Nirmal and tantric’s associate Niyamat. Police are searching for the tantric. It is to be mentioned that on Feb 12, a suitcase thrown into the pond at Ganeshwar Dham suddenly exploded. During this time, some labourers were working there. After the blast, the labourers informed the police that three to four youths came and threw the suitcase into the pond.It is being said that a tantric gave them the suitcase after performing tantra-mantra and asked them to throw it into flowing water.
