Prayagraj: As Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati’s dharna continued for the 10th consecutive day on Tuesday, a group of seers and saints, led by Computer Baba, came out in support of ‘Shankaracharya’ of Jyotirmath in Uttarakhand and performed a fire ritual (dhuni tapasya). “The saints, Sanatan Dharma and religious leaders are being insulted on the mela campus. This insult is taking place under the Yogi-led state govt, which is very unfortunate. The saints are expressing their protest through this fire ritual,” Computer Baba said. By performing dhuni tapasya, the saints expressed their support for the swami, who is demanding that the mela administration allow him to take a respectful dip in the Ganga. Meanwhile, former Gujarat Chief Minister Shankersinh Vaghela arrived at the Magh Mela and met with Avimukteshwaranand, saying, “Millions of people stand with the Swami Ji”.
