Fire in Sec 4 guts tents, 3 cottages | Prayagraj News

Prayagraj: A fire broke out at the Bade-Chhote Brahma Maharaj Ashram in Sector 4 under the Kalpwasi police station of the Magh Mela area gutting two Maharaja tents and three Swiss cottages.Additionally, one tent of nearby Shri Prakash Chandra Mishra’s organisation also caught fire. “Upon receiving information, eight fire tenders (large and small) reached the spot within no time and brought the blaze under control. No casualties or injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation,” said fire department officials. This is the second fire incident in the mela area in as many days. Earlier on Tuesday, a fire broke out at two tents at the campus of Shri Ram Naam & Manav Prachar Sangh near Sangam Lower Chauraha in Sector 5 under the limits of Jhunsi Police Station. Two tents were reduced to ashes in the incident. There were no casualties or damage to any other property.
