Lucknow: IIID-Samagam 2026 began with a panel discussion that brought architects, designers, officials, and students together on Sunday. The session focused on practical aspects of architecture, including energy efficient buildings, natural lighting, ventilation, and responsible material use. Architect, Michel Pasca di Magliano from a private firm said, “Design should reduce energy use and respond to the environment.” Interior designer, Arundhati Sathe said, “Material selection must be practical and suitable for long-term use.”
Advisor to the chief minister, Awanish Awasthi, said, “Architects play an important role in shaping cities and public spaces.”Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan also interacted with participants and visited the exhibition area.
