Experts discuss trends in nanotechnology

Varanasi: Experts from various institutes deliberated on emerging trends and technological advances in quantum dots and nanotechnology at a workshop. Organised by the School of Materials Science and Technology at Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, the two-day workshop is being conducted under the scheme for promotion of academic and research collaboration as part of the Indo-Korean collaborative initiative.

The programme commenced with a floral tribute to the BHU founder Madan Mohan Malaviya. Convener, Prof Bhola Nath Pal, emphasised the growing importance of quantum dots and nanotechnology in next-generation devices and sustainable technologies.Associate dean (Research & Development), Prof Pradip Paik, highlighted the significance of international academic collaboration in accelerating innovation and strengthening research outcomes in nanoscience and advanced materials.
