District Magistrate paid homage to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s portrait and paid homage

The birth anniversary of the constitution maker Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was celebrated in the district. District Magistrate Harshita Mathur garlanded the portrait of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and paid homage to him at a program organized at Bacha Bhawan Auditorium at Collectorate. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s contribution was remembered at the seminar held in the auditorium and resolved to follow the path given to him.

On this occasion, the District Magistrate said that Baba Saheb’s birth anniversary is being celebrated this time with the theme ‘Our Constitution is our self -respect’ theme. Under which a 15 -day various programs are being organized in the district.

He said that Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar considered evils like casteism, communalism and corruption as the biggest obstacle in the path of development. Babasaheb exploited, struggled for life for the upliftment of Dalits, women, backward and universal society. His contribution can never be forgotten. He said that we all should discharge our obligations with full loyalty, dedication and honesty.

Additional District Magistrate (V/Ra) Amrita Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) Vishal Yadav, Municipal Magistrate Ram Avatar and all the employees of the Collectorate family were present on the occasion.
