Gurgaon: An argument over a liquor discount spiralled into violence outside a Bajghera shop in the city, where three youths allegedly abused and assaulted staff and threatened to kill them while brandishing a pistol-shaped lighter.The incident occurred on Jan 27 at the Times of Wine liquor shop. In a complaint to police, staff said the trio arrived in a car to buy liquor and beer and demanded a discount. When employees told them they would need to speak to their manager, the group allegedly began abusing and assaulting staff, insisting they would not leave without a discount.As the confrontation escalated, one of the youths allegedly ran to their car, pulled out what looked like a gun and tried to enter the shop. The complainant said he picked up a stick in self-defence. The staff were allegedly assaulted again, after which the men demanded beer bottles instead of liquor. The complaint said they paid for the beer, then left while threatening to kill employees and waving the object.A passerby sitting in another car parked nearby recorded the episode. The video shows staff arguing with the youths and pushing them out of the shop, before one of the men runs to his vehicle and pulls out the pistol-shaped lighter.“After receiving a formal complaint, police registered a case under relevant sections. Two of the accused were arrested from Delhi on Friday. They were identified as Harsh (27), an MBA graduate, and Akshit (24), a BBA graduate, both residents of Nangloi in Delhi,” said Sandeep Kumar, police spokesperson.Police said they recovered the car and the pistol-shaped lighter allegedly used in the incident
