Delhi Traffic Police issues advisory for AI Impact Summit 2026; check affected areas, alternate routes

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a special advisory regarding traffic arrangements for today in view of the AI Impact Summit 2026. Several VVIP movements are scheduled at Bharat Mandapam, the airport, and other parts of the city, prompting authorities to implement temporary traffic restrictions to ensure smooth and secure movement.According to the advisory, traffic regulations will be in effect during the following time slots:

  • Morning: 08:00am to 10:00am
  • Evening: 05:00pm to 09:00pm

A number of key roads are likely to be affected, including Sardar Patel Marg, Mother Teresa Crescent, Janpath, Mathura Road, Shanti Path, Africa Avenue, Gurugram Road, Parade Road, and several others. Commuters are advised to use suggested alternate routes such as San Martin Marg, Panchsheel Marg, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Road, Lodhi Road, NH-48, and other connecting roads.

  • Plan journeys in advance and allow extra travel time.
