Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir and met army officers and soldiers at Chinar Corps Headquarters. This is his first visit to Pahalgam terrorist attack and Operation Sindoor. Along with this, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah were also present. Rajnath Singh said that Operation Sindoor is India’s biggest action against terrorism and Pakistan has to pay a heavy price.

He praised the bravery of the soldiers and said that the enemy will never forget their enthusiasm and understanding. 15 days after the Pahalgam attack on 22 April, the Indian Army destroyed nine terrorist bases in Pakistan at Operation Sindoor on 7 May. After this, tension between the two countries increased, but India retaliated and destroyed 14 locations. On May 10, the two countries implemented ceasefire, although Pakistan broke it a few hours later, on which the Indian Army gave a befitting reply.
